Why I'm Running
"I'm running for Kittitas County Prosecutor because justice here should continue to be fair, efficient, victim-centered, and rooted in integrity."
As a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office, I work to hold offenders accountable, give victims a voice, and apply the law faithfully. I came to this office after nearly two decades in litigation, and I know our County also requires high-quality civil representation to prevent costly litigation and protect public resources.
Before joining the Prosecutor's Office, I served as Senior Counsel in the Washington State Attorney General's Litigation Services Section, defending state agencies — including the Department of Transportation and the Washington State Patrol — in complex civil litigation. That experience taught me to make sound decisions under pressure, strengthen in-house legal work, and reduce spending on outside attorneys.
Kittitas County deserves a Prosecutor who will support law enforcement, protect victims, respect taxpayers, and apply the law fairly and consistently. I humbly ask for your vote so I can bring my well-rounded experience in civil litigation, criminal trials, and strategic leadership to the role of County Prosecutor.
